Fresh Fruit Exporter from India
Pomegranate, grapes, banana, mango and more — pre-cooled, count-graded and reefer-shipped to your port.
Quick answer: Green Plus EXIM exports Indian fresh fruit including pomegranate (Bhagwa), table grapes (Thompson, Flame), banana (Cavendish G9), mango (Alphonso, Kesar), papaya, watermelon, lemon and coconut. Fruit is graded to your specification, pre-cooled, packed in ventilated cartons and shipped in temperature-controlled reefer containers. MOQ is one 20ft reefer container.
Indian fresh fruit for export
India's fresh fruit export business runs on a small number of products with genuinely strong global positions — grapes in the January–April window when Southern Hemisphere supply is ending, Bhagwa pomegranate for its deep red aril and long shelf life, and Cavendish banana as India's largest fruit export by value.
What all of them have in common is that arrival quality is decided before the container sails: how fast field heat was removed, whether the fruit was graded honestly, and whether the reefer is set correctly for that specific product.
How we handle fresh fruit orders
- Count and grade agreed upfront. Fruit is graded by size/count to your specification, not to a vague "export quality" standard.
- Prompt pre-cooling. Field heat is removed before loading — this is what determines whether you get full shelf life or half of it.
- Product-specific reefer settings. 13–14°C for banana, 0–2°C for grapes, 5–7°C for pomegranate. Data loggers available on request.
- Residue testing where it matters. For EU and UK shipments, pesticide residue is the most common rejection cause across Indian fresh produce — we arrange pre-shipment testing on request.
Seasonality is real — plan around it
Unlike storable commodities, fresh fruit has hard seasonal windows. Grapes run January–April. Pomegranate is broadly September–March across staggered flowering cycles. Mango is a short, intense March–June. Banana is the outlier — available year-round from staggered regional harvests. Check our harvest calendar when planning a programme, and ask us for current-season availability before committing to delivery dates.

Fresh Fruits export FAQs
Grapes, pomegranate and banana have the deepest export track records and the most developed packhouse and cold-chain infrastructure behind them. Mango is highly seasonal and often air-freighted. Others are available but with more variable volumes.
Yes — every fresh fruit we export ships temperature-controlled, at a setting specific to that fruit. Bananas ship at 13–14°C, grapes at 0–2°C, pomegranate at 5–7°C. Using the wrong setting damages the fruit even if transit time is short.
For high-value, short-shelf-life fruit like Alphonso mango, air freight is common and we can arrange it. For most other fruit sea freight is far more economic and the shelf life supports it.
One 20ft reefer container per product. We don't mix products in a reefer because each needs its own temperature setting.
Three things: agree the grade and count precisely before shipping, agree pesticide residue testing if you're importing into the EU or UK, and make sure your own cold chain at destination picks up where ours leaves off.
