Export Process
Eleven steps from your first message to your goods landing at your port.
Every order follows the same sequence, whether it's a trial container or a repeat annual contract. Knowing the sequence helps you plan your own timeline around it.
- Inquiry. You send product, quantity, destination and any spec or packaging requirement — via the quote form or WhatsApp.
- Specifications confirmed. We confirm what grade/spec is currently available and ask any clarifying questions (size, moisture, packaging format, labelling needs).
- Quote. You receive an FOB, CIF, CFR or EXW price for your quantity, with a validity window (commodity prices move — see each product page for current guidance).
- Samples (if required). See Sample Policy for availability and any charges.
- Contract agreed. Incoterm, payment terms, quantity, specification, packaging and delivery window are put in writing.
- Payment terms confirmed. LC, advance/CAD or TT — see Payment Terms.
- Sourcing, production and packing. Product is sourced or produced, graded and packed to your agreed specification.
- Pre-shipment inspection. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or your nominated agency) can be arranged on request.
- Documentation prepared. Export documentation prepared to match destination-country and buyer requirements — phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate, lab test reports and more, as applicable.
- Shipping. Loaded at the relevant port (Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Visakhapatnam) and booked with a shipping line matched to your destination and required transit time — see Logistics & Shipping.
- Delivery. Tracked through to your destination port, with documentation sent ahead so your customs clearance isn't waiting on paperwork.
How long does the whole process take?
From confirmed order to vessel departure typically depends on whether the product is in season/in stock or needs to be sourced and processed to order — fresh produce moves faster once harvest windows align, while a first order on a new specification may need more lead time for sourcing and sampling. Ask for a timeline estimate specific to your product when you request a quote.
