Quality & Compliance

We manage quality as a process you can inspect, not a certificate you have to take on faith.

Green Plus EXIM holds India's Import Export Code (IEC) and APEDA registration — see Registrations for details. What we can show you is exactly how a shipment moves from sourcing to your port, and where in that process quality gets checked.

1. Sourcing checks

Before procurement, we verify the supplier and the specific lot — origin, harvest or production date, and any known quality issues for that season or region. For agricultural produce this includes checking the growing region's current condition; for processed goods like animal feed ingredients, it includes checking the mill or processor's batch records.

2. Grading

Product is sorted and graded against the specification agreed in your contract — size, count, moisture, admixture, colour, or whatever grading criteria apply to that product. Typical specification ranges are published on each product page as a starting point for discussion; final specifications are confirmed in your contract, not assumed from a general table.

3. Pre-shipment inspection

Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or your nominated agency) can be arranged on request. We can coordinate inspection scheduling with your nominated agency, or use our standard pre-shipment check if you don't have a preferred inspector.

4. Lab testing on request

Moisture, admixture, aflatoxin, pesticide residue and other lab tests can be arranged as required by your market's import regulations or your own specification. Tell us what your destination market requires and we'll confirm which tests apply and the turnaround time.

5. Traceability

We maintain lot-level records linking a shipment back to its sourcing batch, so if a question comes up after delivery — a quality dispute, a regulatory query at your port — we can trace it back to the source lot rather than shrugging.

Documentation

Export documentation prepared to match destination-country and buyer requirements — phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate, lab test reports and more, as applicable. Typical documents include, as applicable to your product and destination:

DocumentWhen it applies
Phytosanitary certificatePlant-origin products (fruits, vegetables, grains, spices)
Certificate of originMost shipments, especially where preferential tariffs apply
Fumigation certificateWooden packaging, some bulk grain/pulse shipments
Health certificateSeafood, animal feed, some processed foods
Lab test reportOn request, or where the destination market requires it
Bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing listEvery shipment

Share your compliance checklist and we will confirm the documentation for your shipment. See our Export Process page for how documentation fits into the overall shipping timeline.
